The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
